One-hour nondual guided meditation with Michael Taft.

Most individuals consider themselves as having awareness, which is positioned in a brain, which is inside a body, which is contained in the world. While this works well for navigating the practicalities of life, it’s the other of how we view things in nondual meditation. Within the nondual view, the looks of self-and-world arises inside awareness, and shouldn’t be separate from awareness.

Since the body is one in every of the appearances in awareness, there isn’t a single body location that’s the center of awareness. Somewhat any body location may be arbitrarily felt to be the middle of awareness if we wish.

It’s interesting to notice that, because different locations within the body feel different, “centering” awareness in a selected location will are inclined to color our view of the world, based on the sentiments of that location.

On this guided meditation, Michael means that you can experience the guts region as the middle of awareness, and feel the loving and compassionate sense of awareness there.

Meditation begins with Shamatha with an object.
Then Shamatha without an object.
Then dropping awareness into the guts.

After the meditation, there’s a dharma talk and a Q&A piece.
